I miss it when cartoons: - Had intros longer than ten seconds. - Could be fun and campy without getting derided for not being "mature" and/or "storydriven." - Had a consistent "one episode per week" schedule. - Weren't cancelled after just eight episodes. - Didn't have to rely on going independent.

The Sodor engines must have heard before about Mainland diesels painted in ‘Police’ colors. Perhaps the Fat Controller or the Inspectors like to circulate the myth of “engine prison” to get them to behave unless they send a few of these diesels to the Island to make sure of it!
