I was unaware this could be done, much less that the option is ending. I need to work on this, and get my "purchased" ebooks saved off of Amazon. My Kindle library is the only reason I haven't deleted my Amazon account.

As a rural Michigander, I'm really happy to see Meijer on this list. They are, and have been my store for years. My tough switch is going to be giving up Sam's Club and switching over to Costco. But I will survive.

I actually just removed the Amazon app from my phone. I search elsewhere for the item I want now. It's a matter of changing habits. Looking elsewhere also gives me time to think, "do I really need that?". Not surprisingly, the answer is often no.
