playing reasonably well but losing convincingly is a really bad habit to get into. the football just feels very dated very quickly, and some of the players just don't have the technique. liverpool haven't had to do a lot for their two goals, whereas we work our arses off for the little we create.

will he be wearing his smart trousers? bit concerned.

Bill Fay RIP. Absolutely crushing news. The loveliest person I ever interviewed. Gracious, wise and humble. I wanted to write a book about him. He declined, believing the commitment involved would take him away from his great joy in life, composing songs. Fly on Bill. Those songs will last forever.

what happened to glenn greenwald, man. was he always full-on brain melt?

You can now read the article here: www.theguardian.com/world/commen... - if of interest, please share.

i must be watching a different fight to everyone else, i've given bivol five of the first eight rounds.

some of these lads have got to lay off the cbd, man.

hear me out...

the cruelty of this is absolutely unforgivable. quite literally a death sentence. truly shameful.

scotland have been outstanding here.

it's remarkable that united have got thirty points really. of their eight wins, they've absolutely jammed four, maybe five. of their six draws, they've scraped the point in at least three. it could be miles worse for them. they could very easily be ten points worse off. they're truly diabolical.

an absolutely miserable day for anyone who likes an accumulator.

sorry, but if josh inglis is from leeds then the two sides should split his runs, imho, and 20% of his match fee for the moustache.

obviously there's logic to guardiola's comments about players who are regularly not available, but for me it ducks accountability. it's him who has always insisted on a smaller squad, and it's either his choice (we're told) or the board's (more likely) that we tapered down senior recruitment.

Read this and the world will seem a better place. www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle...

nobody's ever watched a film six or more times. at a push i'll allow home alone.

think there's an argument that carolyn on series three of the american version of traitors has ended up being one of the most real, most relatable people in the history of reality tv.

wow. open.spotify.com/track/40rhiU...

this is a really good record, first four or five tracks especially. completely new band on me. vocals very much an acquired taste probably... open.spotify.com/track/3xQszh...

piss in a bottle. wish i hadn't bothered. what a fun-free existence. never stop drinking.

a few years old, but this is a ridiculously lovely track... youtu.be/QXdOmPMA6BY?...

i'm suffering with some sort of phantosmia at the minute, fuck knows why, but everything smells of lavender. very, very weird. feels like i'm losing my mind.

oh no, that's unfortunate.

obviously nobody enjoys seeing gerwen price happy, but you have to say he's been absolutely sensational tonight.

are any of these reform voters serious human beings?

completely ridiculous, and potentially a bit dodgy. imaging begrudging someone who gets hit in the head for a living a post-work doobie.

sorry, but no, this i will not accept. no player who loses a game should be eating solids for 72 hours (at least), and they're lucky they don't have to serve time.

appreciate that guardiola maintains the unwavering support of 90% of blues, but i really don't know if another transfer window fixes these issues. my gut feeling is i'd *quite like* to see what viana and a new coach could look like maybe, but the next three league games will confirm either way.
