Think the boycott for today is a good idea? What do you think would happen if ALL of us working class people boycotted businesses, as well as going to work for say, a week or two? Wanna bet how fast we’d start seeing changes if we hit the rich, wealthy, and powerful where it really hurts?

As a leftist, it is my duty to remind those on the left of the political spectrum that the 2nd Amendment applies to you too. If you’re opposed to guns: reconsider that if the govt is allowed to have guns, so should you The state doesn’t need a monopoly on violence, it removes power from the people

I’ve realized that as I get older, some things flip. Like me hearing that people accomplish things drunk? Child’s play. Come to me when you’ve had to raw dog life for years on end Stone. Cold. Sober. You will never know how long a year can drag until you have to endure it sober…

When this is all over, we everyday citizens better be allowed to use the Trump Defense Either hold the rich asshole accountable, or stop saying the law is equal It’s not equal if it applies to some of us & not others. POTUS works FOR the people & appears to need a constant reminder of that.

“It’s called the ‘American Dream’ because you have to be asleep to believe it.” — George Carlin

It’s also going to be a very, very rude awakening when all of these rabid, pro-Trump, anti-govt people realize that governments, & this is the real shocker, *provide essential services to citizens*. If they possessed an iota of critical thinking, they’d realize we evolved to have governments.

I find it deeply disturbing/ironic that people who are trying to improve our country by highlighting problems are constantly branded by conservatives as various forms of “un-American” So the more patriotic thing to do is ignore all the problems we face & pretend as if everything’s fine?

If you're confused, or simply don't know what to make of our current situation, let me, as a historian, suggest some reading for you: The Gilded Age - we are 100% living in a Second Gilded Age atm Fascism - anything by Umberto Eco or Jean Paul Sarte Domenico Losurdo - excellent socialist historian

I just want to find someone who will suck my toes with the same love and care that Donald shows Elon here x.com/meidastouch/...

That's why I give myself the inspirational reminder that, "life in general is easier when you don't fuck things up, stupid." It's called positive affirmations, guys.

I feel like if I had to choose imagery for mental health, as far as "How it Started" vs. "How it's Going", it would look something like this:

I feel like as Americans, we really have found a nice balance historically. Sure we have heroism, leadership, innovation...but also, have you ever wanted to launch a nuclear warhead out of a catapult? Because let me tell you, that is the kind of unhinged lunacy we can get behind around here.
