Happy Saturday! My friend Jackie has a story about surfing and her day job — two things that don’t always go together.

I love black cats and I loved this poem <3

You know what to do, friends 🤘

Worth a read, yes. It was never about saving women's sports.

I'm working on a project pitch right now and it's funny how every form of media has it's own specific language and formats for doing things. It's also not that funny when I have to learn each one on the fly lol

Look forward to some burning effigies. Maybe there's a substance that could be dumped into a large body of water somewhere. That could be cool. smdh

Nah, dude can't be a king without pulling a sword out of a stone or some other weird feat. There's rules here man

Hey @waves-sf.bsky.social meet my friend @jackieutah.bsky.social She likes ocean stuff 💙

I just finished calling my representatives My goal is to - call about 1 topic each day - ask them to support the constitution & our democracy - let them know when I support an action they've taken I use @5calls.org and their helpful scripts (because I get nervous on the phone!) 5calls.org

And yes, for now we are using Substack because it is free and easy to set up with separate bylines. But, we hope to move eventually!

If you would like a chill, escapist read today, I wrote a story about winter in California and my cat for the newsletter where my friend Jackie and I write about surfing. frothyfools.substack.com/p/my-cat-hat...

"How do regimes manage to impose minority rule on enormous populations? By getting the majority to give up. Don’t do that. " A banger from @hamiltonnolan.bsky.social. www.hamiltonnolan.com/p/they-are-a...

I did not expect to wake up to Prisoner’s Dilemma jokes today 👀

" It was all folly." There are so many incredible details in this story. Beautifully written account of the L.A. fires and the people caught up in them. Recommend.

I just had a time zones how do they work moment lol

This looks super cool! Love zines!

I like peanut butter sandwiches maybe I could write a novel. I hear that's a surefire way to financial success lol

I had a good year freelancing last year. I did some really fun stuff and made decent money. I did not really expect it to swan dive off a cliff this year. Oops.

Maybe the hardware store with hire me to organize their box of loose screws I think I would be good at organizing boxes of loose screws

I don't own a printer, because it would mostly serve as an oversized paperweight. So, any time I need to print a document, which is a rare occurrence, I save the file to a usb drive I got from a Specialized media event back in the days when that was a thing. Then I carry it to Kinkos and go wild.
