This is one of the coolest thing I've every seen. Planets. Around. Other Stars.

This is so cool! I am literally looking for ways to make the trip down from Edmonton!

I was watching Schindler's List this weekend and it's absolutely terrifying how many similarities there are between the movie and the shitshow going on South of Canada.

I wonder which Signal Chat the Houthis were on when they attacked the aircraft carrier. www.msn.com/en-ca/news/w...

Today we're going to find out if Canadians are, collectively, smarter than Americans.

While the rest of Edmonton was watching the Oilers (win in OT!) I was outside taking pictures of Mars. Don't worry, I was listening to the game on the radio.

There are going to be a lot of blurry eyes in Edmonton tomorrow!

The stable genius is finally figuring out what the rest of the world new years ago.

His entire government is in jest.

I still have some old floppy discs kicking around. It's amazing how far computer technology has come in 30 years. Now, rocket scientists, where is my jet pack?

This approach might have worked when trying to convince people not to vote for the liberals. Its not a winning strategy if you want to convince people to vote for you.

@mark-carney.bsky.social when will Canada do the same?

You know how nuclear fusion has always been 20 years away? I feel like the end of my dissertation is always 10 pages away.

At this point I doubt a temporary pause in tariffs will quell market fears. The uncertainty is as big a problem as the tariffs. No sane person knows what he will do next.

Republicans keep pumping the tarrifs as some sort of necessary medicine. For what, exactly? Are you sure you didn't take arsenic instead of Tylenol? How long are these (self destructive) symptoms supposed to last?

The S&P 500 has lost 10.5% of its value in two days. Since 1980, we've only seen larger declines three other times: the '87 crash, Nov 2008, and Mar 2020. And those weren't due to policy choices. This may be the largest self-imposed destruction of wealth ever.

So it's not actually reciprocal tariffs. It's a temper tantrum because US consumers want things from there parts of the world.

I wonder if Smith's response (or lack thereof) to auto/steel/aluminum tarrifs will cause a lasting rift between her and Ford.

When will Canada, Mexico and the EU do something similar? www.reuters.com/world/china-...

I feel like someone needs to organize a wake or celebration of life for American Democracy.
