So my 20th season of reporting pro rugby league starts. Midlands Hurricanes v Siddal in the Challenge Cup. Nice to meet the new Midlands managing director Eorl Crabtree who's played a bit in his time.

What’s your thoughts on The Traitors so far? Hear what last years runner up Andrew Jenkins, who’s from Talbot Green, says as he speaks to Cerys about this year’s series. player.autopod.xyz/794754 (46 mins)

The calm before the storm. Photo taken from McDonald's car park, with Maccas packed with police fueling up before going into battle. Cardiff v Swansea kicks off at 12.30pm. I'll be reporting on the latter stages live on @gtfmradio.bsky.social from 2pm.

30 years ago today, I was at Day 1 of the Australian Open. Programme signed by Jim Courier, who was champ a couple of years before, and future French Open winner Michael Chang. Second day programme signed by Jeremy Bates and I remember leading the crowd into the chant "Bates eats Swedes" as he won.

Nice to have done a quick 121 interview with Lauren Price at Nos Galan tonight. I was given two minutes, I did 90 seconds. It'll be on GTFM soon. Cheeky pic was also in order.

With my little pick and shovel...

Christmas Day over for another year, yay! So now it's time for the best part of Christmas - Boxing Day and The Season Ticket on @gtfmradio.bsky.social with Tomos as the main presenter for the final time. Tune in early as we may be in early to join Jake and Haydn. www.gtfm.co.uk

I love how Denmark isn’t taking any shit from Donald Trump. 🇩🇰 🤣

Doctor Who and Gavin and Stacey - both completely nailed it. Both made in Cymru #falch @bbcwales.bsky.social

My Alys, proud to be a @tigerswrl.co.uk player. She now has a mascot for her matches. Nadolig llawen pawb.

Netflix have taken the franchise to a new level. Shame there's no Jim Dale cameo.

Great news for Welsh Rugby League with Cardiff Demons RLFC (and London Broncos RL) confirmed as being in the main Women's Championship for next year (aka the northern one), which will be the route to Super League. Some quality opposition will help improve the Welsh side. wrl.wales/cardiff-demo...

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

20 days until Doctor Who / Gavin and Stacey Day youtu.be/Qn5twCracO4?...

Two stages of writing: 1) This shouldn't take too long 2) Oh no

Yes!

Wheelchair Rugby League today. Torfaen Tigers v @salfordreddevils.bsky.social. Free entry.

At Cardiff City Stadium for Wales v Ireland. First leg of the Euro 2025 qualifying play-off final.

Happy (US) Black Friday. It's amazing what an offer does in some countries, this being France. My book is number one in TV guides on Amazon there right now. Also available in English. More at www.heartbreakhigh.co.uk

Europa Conference League nights are fast becoming a favourite of mine. Great atmosphere at the TNS match and I'm looking forward to seeing Larne next, I hear a lot of pupils from their local high school have flown over to Slovenia to support them! What a great experience for them.

Looking forward to playing against Salford Red Devils this coming weekend at Cwmbran Stadium 🙌 Wheelchair rugby league is an amazing, inclusive sport, and certainly one I recommend everyone tries at least once

7 wins in a row #FlyEaglesFly

Great to see unknown darts players given big opportunities in the Modus Super Series @mssdarts.bsky.social Hilton Klein, the number one darts player in Botswana is playing today. Lost his first couple of games but taken a leg in each. He looks so chuffed to be there www.youtube.com/live/k3jqbl_...

If you're a fan of Heartbreak High or the making of 90s TV in general, then you may be interested to know that my book is currently on a sale price on Amazon for the month of November. Lots of original interviews with the cast and crew. Now onto 800 copies sold. www.amazon.co.uk/Heartbreak-H...

Car will be on charge, washing machine on, dryer on, dishwasher on. #FreeElectricity

Not a lot happening at Bedford Blues v Bath today in the rugby union.

@englandrlofficial.bsky.social v France in the Wheelchair Rugby League is live at 4pm today at sportenfrance.com. #lecrunch

Hi Blue Sky peeps. What I sometimes do on a Saturday. Presenting "The Season Ticket" on @gtfmradio.bsky.social alongside Tomos Oakley. Grey rainy skies out there today with three Super Rygbi Cymru games, even one with a 4G pitch and lots of local football already off. Llandovery was for high winds.

Random one. I've started to follow the @en.werder.de account as they were one of the first football clubs to announce they were leaving X. They could be my new German club. I've never really had a German club.

Well, someone was going to [maybe] do it. The #CardiffCity version of Bluesky vs X. It has to be Robin Friday, one of the most iconic football photos in history

I've interviewed quite a few people over the years. For WRL, radio, newspapers and magazines. Even the odd video. However this is my most memorable. I will always be indebted to the FAW in 2012 for getting me a 121 with Ronnie Corbett when he helped launch their league, sponsored by Corbett Sports

The venue for tomorrow night’s France v England Wheelchair international is definitely striking and unique. It’s normally used for dressage - we saw lots of horses in stables on the way in. The French Federation have brought the pitch from the Wheelchair Rugby at the Paris Paralympics. Incroyable.

Big memories of this. My late mum was a massive fan and bought the VHS of it when it came out.

Worth re-sharing this for everyone again: below is the Starter Pack we're maintaining of official RL accounts. Pleasing to see we're already up to 260 followers in the first 5 days; at this rate, this will be our primary SoMe platform before the start of next season 🙂🤞 So, please give us a RT 👍

As often in Wheelchair Rugby League, it's a score that doesn't do justice to the effort the losing side put in. An excellent effort from the Irish, especially when they scored three on the bounce in the second half. Great that half of their squad were from their new domestic clubs too.
