Very sad news to hear about Gene Hackman.and his wife Betsy Arakawa. Gene was unquestionably one of my favourite ever actors who dominated any scene in which he appeared. Such a sad ending for a movie great. RIP.

Such sad news to hear about Gene Hackman & his wife Betsy. His acting magic certainly touched/enriched my life. He always brought an energy and a touch of class to whatever he was in. He was always so watchable. One of the all time greats. RIP.

Roberta Flack, soul and R&B icon behind Killing Me Softly, dies aged 88

I love this Bob Gruen pic. It’s just so iconic. Saddened to hear of the passing of singer Roberta Flack. What a voice. My intro to Roberta was hearing “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” in Clint’s “Play Misty For Me” as a kid. It was just so beautiful. Perfection. RIP Roberta. Safe travels.
