Explaining to them that it will save our life isn't gonna help. They want us dead. There was an absolutely impeccable amicus brief in that case about this. It doesn't matter. None of it matters, they hate knowing that transition is possible, and they will use whatever they need to pretend otherwise.

Great thread. In NI, far right rhetoric and violence is indissociable from the long shadow of paramilitarism in our society. You will find many of the same symbols, slogans and people and it is irresponsible not to acknowledge this. As we say, even the dogs in the street know. When will politicians?
