A couple of million Brits are googling “who the f is Brandi Carlile?” right now.

I accept this suggestion will have little traction but just imagine if we organised a lockdown level don’t show when the old Mango Mussolini visits London. His ridiculous vehicle entourage drive through totally deserted streets. Literally no one to see or boo or shout. Total silence.

Wild that 28% of Tory voters don't believe humans are causing climate change. The figure is quite high for UK population as a whole, at 17%. Yet it's 4yrs since the IPCC upgraded its certainty on our role in causing climate change, calling it "unequivocal". Lotta people didn't get the message.

Good luck to my fellow London to East Anglia travellers tonight. A line fire at Knebworth has screwed the LKX trains & who knows what Liverpool Street will be like. Nothing but rail replacement buses all weekend, but it’s okay because highways england has made sure motorists haven’t been disrupted.😡

Starmer told UK must repeal hate speech laws to protect LGBT+ people or lose Trump trade deal. Plus sacrifice the NHS, food and environmental standards, worker rights. Who governs? No thank you. Don't want to be the 51st state, or US slaves. Better to join the EU and Single Market.

Making it easy for motorists, but the rail network becomes essentially unusable because of engineering works. E.g. its impossible to get into East Anglia without a series of rail replacement buses More than 1,000 miles of roadworks lifted to allow ‘smooth’ Easter getaway - Sky News

‘90GW of solar capacity would need just 0.39% of the land not already hosting a solar farm in the UK…To meet the highest ambition target by 2050…If all future solar installations were ground-mounted, then 0.72% would be required’ 90 GW is the estimated net zero capacity needed.

A centuries-old oak tree with “more ecological value than the Sycamore Gap tree” has been hacked down by the FTSE 250-listed owners of a nearby Toby Carvery. 🤦‍♂️😢🌳 www.thetimes.com/uk/london/ar...

🚗💨 When we bought our Tesla Model Y RWD (LFP), I wondered how long it’d take to pay off its carbon debt. A year later: 26,000 km driven—20,000 powered by rooftop solar, <$250 spent on road trips, zero servicing. The answer? Under 8,000 km. EVs + solar = game changer. ⚡🌞 #EV #Tesla

Yet we have been told that solar farms are the key risk to food security

I’m angry (some would suggest u reasonably) that Mark Goodyear has decided to play some forgettable Bee Gees gumpf rather than the Snap Megamix on Pick of the Pops.
