Kit-Cat clocks are oddly difficult to keep working. They are the only thing we have that uses C batteries, so I bought rechargeable for it. It has to rest against the beam perfectly to function, but when it does and when it works, I love the vibe it gives.

15 years ago I made a video: "found footage" of two guys breaking into a house and finding a Polybius #arcade machine. I still have the cabinet; it is enormous, silly and impractical and has shown up in corners of realtor photos of houses that we've listed as we've moved. Here's a pic for BlueSky.
