When you have dyspraxia, changing bedsheets genuinely feels like a workout 😅

Wish managers would tell you what a random ‘catch up’ out of the blue meeting was about beforehand, especially if you haven’t done anything wrong, so you wouldn’t panic so much and be anxious about it for days on end 😩

Have always hated the snow even as a kid. But especially since I’ve got older, I’ve learned to embrace it more and as an adult I’ve discovered that this is a great sensory experience - the sound and sight of making footprints in the snow where there aren’t any yet. Good little sensory break ❄️

hello bluesky! here's a longer version of the foxes playing around in the snow at my college in oxford. the video has gone viral and i think it's one of those moments where i feel like 'humans are so cute' — we just appreciate watching foxes in the snow! wishing you all a wonderful week :)

UK deprivation levels have risen to the highest in the 21st century, according to a landmark report. More than one in three children are now in poverty and a quarter of adults. It is a scandal - but so is the pretence that any of this is normal. www.theguardian.com/society/2024...

Frank is 7 today. I am very keen on him. He brings me so much love, joy, laughter and comfort every day, always there for me with his healing paw, snuggles and purrs. Happy birthday Frank, here’s to many more happy and healthy years 💞🥰🎈

Good morning, #CoffeeClub ☕️ ♥️

Never got this sort of thing on twitter. This is why BlueSky is so much better!

I think deep down, most of us thought about making the move away from Musk as soon as he took over, we were just waiting for a truly viable alternative, it seems we've found it.

My two truths and a lie (celebrity edition) 1. Former Labour spin doctor, Alastair Campbell, got me ticket/invited me to a theatre show with him 2. TV presenter Gregg Wallace once said I must have been one of his past wives, and have dined with him several times 3. Saw Elton John at an airport

Great to see you on here @rosierooroo87.bsky.social welcome to a more positive, feel good social network 💙🤩

Introduce yourself with some jobs you have done apart from what you do now: 1. Personal Support Assistant in a SEN school 2. Cleaner 3. COVID-19 Tester and Tracer 4. COVID-19 Vaccination Centre Marshal 5. Welfare & Inclusion Representative

Describe yourself using 5 things that are probably in your purse/backpack at any given moment: - Phone - Hand sanitiser - Eye drops - Car keys - Scleral contact lenses and contact lens solution etc

Thread for those new to BlueSky. First of all, welcome. It feels like a safer space, doesn’t it? But also perhaps a bit disorienting initially? Here’s some tips for getting your bearings.

My timeline on here is full of beautiful nature pictures and I love that 🌅🍃🌊🌳😌 #naturelovers

Made an account over here… not sure how much I’m going to use it yet but nice to see many of you over here 😊
