I can guarantee one thing that Trump has said he’s going to do on day one absolutely will not happen. He will not be ending birthright citizenship with an executive order! Birthright citizenship is in the Constitution and to get rid of it would require an amendment and that is not easy to do.

Merrick Garland is to blame for the fact that Trump didn’t face Federal charges in a timely manner. He could have appointed Special Counsel Smith within weeks or a few months after becoming AG. Which would have led to charges being filed sooner and trials long before the end of Biden’s first term.
