@icyphox.sh and i are fully dogfoodin now; the social bits are coming along nicely.

still waiting for my eyes to adjust back to 60hz...

woah, for the first time ever, i managed to transfer my @signal.org from one iphone to another without: a) it breaking midway, b) me losing patience and giving up. back to the 13 mini! it's at 85% battery health these days (had it since nov '21)—but nothing a battery replacement won't fix.

I cannot begin to describe how much I despise this.

lexin the cons

The closer to the end of winter we get, the more I start liking Finland again.

it's snowing outside and i'm atproto hackin inside

etcd was a mistake...

I can confirm this is indeed big. It's super exciting & fun to be building on #atproto as it fits the paradigms of picrel really well. More info soon! And of course, we're using @htmx.org :^)

@icyphox.sh and i are cookin something big on #atproto, hang tight

i love drinking plain oat milk...

Gotta hand it to crypto companies: they know how to make landing pages.

After a few years of Kubernetes, I think I'm officially tired of it. When all you have is K8s, everything looks like a controller. I feel like exploring other infra paradigms—NixOS on servers is something I haven't tried yet. I plan to try it for the thing I'm building currently. Serverful is in.

chat masala is truly slept on. capers, (oat) sour cream, lime and chat masala make this so zippy.

Bananas in Finland are so mid man...

man vanilla go templates + @htmx.org is just... 😙

i can confirm it's only getting cooler and huger

I can't figure out jj. So, I'm working on main, I make a change, jj git fetch changes from main@origin, and somehow it doesn't really reflect when I do git log? I can only see my change and not the commits from above. I can't git push origin HEAD:main because I don't have those commits...

Ubuntu has got to be the ugliest looking font ever...

i'm loving superwhisper on macos but i think the general ux of third-party voice assistance is not that great on ios—because you have to copy and paste or switch to a different app and then send it the share modal

i'm convinced superwhisper is the coolest shit ever

building a cool and huge atproto thing…
