@aoc.bsky.social @sanders.senate.gov preaching to victims about oligarchy & plutocracy. Stop telling us about what has been! Tell us what should be & how you'll hold Dems hostage, like Sinema & Manchin did, or shut down government to get it & not compromise for the sake of governance & pragmatism.

Power vested in the people through representatives is relinquished power and a weak link for corruption to set in. If We the People cannot vote directly on policy, leaving only implementation to elected or unelected officials, then it should not be called a democracy at all. Power to the People 🥖🌹
