The rate of rent in the Midwest look like those typically felt on the coasts. States that are perennially know for rent rate increases have slowed but that’s just because the rent rates in recent years were astronomical.

Florida has no limits on rent increases while an estimated 15-20% of available houses are not available for renters or buyers. Landlords have no incentive not to price gouge and prices are behind a rise in evictions. WE NEED REFORM. Tax unavailable property at a higher rate and build more housing.
