The search for Nigel Farage in Clacton enters its 32nd week.

❗️Today's front page of 🇺🇸The New York Post.

Twitter is now an American right wing disinformation machine interfering in global politics. Your participation in it, is collaboration and nothing less.

🔴 BREAKING: Campaign success as supporters welcome Starmer's offer of a two year Youth Mobility Scheme with the EU, in line with Best for Britain and the UK Trade and Business Commission proposals www.thetimes.com/uk/politics/...

A Labour manifesto promise was to introduce expert domestic abuse specialists to 999 control rooms to offer support to call handlers, carry out risk assessments, support police on the ground and help victims access specialist support services. Today, the first of these specialists are in place!

President Trump is reportedly "very frustrated" with Ukrainian President Zelensky due to "the fact he hasn’t come to the table" according to US national security advisor Michael Waltz. It's hard to come to a table when you weren't invited and actively excluded from it! Please stop this absurdity!

Government's failure to take control of Thames Water means almost £1billion of customers' money will be squandered - How is this good for anyone but financial parasites and predators? www.windrushwasp.org/single-post/...

Trump has now completely humiliated his apologists in the U.K. but not one of them will be honest enough to admit it.

European Parliament member 👇🏽

Disappointed to hear Ed Davey using the term Family Farm Tax to describe the very favourable IHT terms available to agricultural land. There are lots of small family run businesses in the UK, chippies, corner shops etc, they aren't exempt from IHT and don't have favourable terms.

Scrap austerity – tax the super-rich instead. Britain can’t rebuild with more cuts – a wealth tax on the richest is the fair alternative to funding public services and growth.

Thames Water made dividend payments of £37.5m in October 2023 and £158.3m in March 2024. (Source: Ofwat). Tory privatisation of water services has been catastrophic for bill payers, and worst of all, for the environment. Bring utilities back into public ownership! www.bbc.com/news/article...

Well let’s face it Farage showed the same degree of economic ignorance as Truss when he raved about her budget👇🏼😂 So any policies of his will have more flaws than diet water❗️🙄

#Thames water can fuck off. Raising bills for the debt they got into to pay higher dividends is bad business. It's a monopoly when we have no choice. It's a racket. Ok luckily I am not a customer but as a citizen, I am allowed an opinion.

🚨A new report has found posturing 'tough on crime' politicians are to blame for the justice system collapse Now is the time for the government to step up and end the shocking #IPPscandal - one of the most cruel & monumental injustices of the past half-century youtu.be/nkBs2D0Wz_g?...

If you get the first bill for electricity or gas that was used more than 12 months before you do not have to pay it. Demand your supplier cancels the bill. ignore threats, and remind them backbilling is banned under licence Condition 21BA. If refused go to www.energyombudsman.org

I'm not saying our political standards have dropped, but 32 years ago David Mellor had to resign for banging his mistress in a fictional Chelsea shirt. Today, that'd be a viral tiktok, and he'd get a standing ovation from Reform MPs when he walked into the HOC.

It's almost as if electing people who are obvious, transparent grifters into high office is a really, really, really bad idea.

I’m going to take a punt to the answer being “on BBC1”.

I'm talking to trump cos US supplies Ukraine. By that argument, trump should be talking to Kim cos North Korea supplies us. I remain a master strategist

Brexiters put the frighteners up the Tory leadership during the 2010s by voting for the Farage party in local and EU elections. We Rejoiners must do the same to Starmer by voting for pro-EU parties in the local elections. We've talked the talk. Now, let's walk the walk by voting. #VoteRejoin

"It is well-known that most of the mainstream media do not approach a Labour Government in a neutral way. Some blatantly misrepresent what is happening, but more often they simply do not report activity, leaving people with a sense that the government is doing nothing."

Another way the dictatorship might kill you. This is from a friend who is a retired air traffic controller.

Meanwhile, so much for “free speech” over at The Bad Place.

OTD in 2015 we learned from a leading journalist that a body with hands tied behind its back & a bullet in its skull is "evidence of bugger all". Just a small drop of journalistic urine helping to fill the well of apathy as I continue to execute POWs 10 years later. Aged well, didn't it

Dan Hannan. Wrong about everything.

The Guardian has a very negative article, attacking the Labour breakfast clubs, only mentioning at the end the current plans are a 'test & learn' approach to gather evidence & feed into plans for a wider role out. Why be so negative? Why not use it for constructive input into the long term plans?

“The real “threat from within” comes from those fake British patriots loudly cheering on attacks on our own country by a hostile foreign power” @adambienkov.bsky.social 👏 www.adambienkov.co.uk/p/the-collab...

Good to see that Last Leg C4 has closed its X account, as have my all time fave band The Stranglers. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Superb, by Brendan Loper in the New Yorker. Simply superb. ~AA

Incredible.

The government will set out plans next week to crack down on exploitative behaviour by rogue and criminal supported housing landlords. They exploit the taxpayer by claiming uncapped housing benefits, yet provide squalid homes for vulnerable people without the care or support they need. 1/2

Terrifying and important new piece by @gregorydavishnh.bsky.social for @hopenothate.org.uk. A Russia linked Telegram channel is behind hate crimes in the U.K. and is encouraging terrorism for money! hopenothate.org.uk/2025/02/10/e...

When I left Twitter I had a 1M followers and 100K tweets. You know what happen to me when it was all gone? Nothing. To the Twitter refugees who I see fretting about losing contacts and content by deleting Twitter, trust, you'll be fine. They have convinced us that we need them. Nope. They need US.

This weeks episode of #Severance was simply superb!

Labour urged to defend workers’ rights bill as poll shows huge public support Poll reveals 72% of UK voters favour ban on zero-hours contracts, including majority of Tory and Reform supporters www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025...

Deleted my Twitter app. I'm not posting to a state media platform, which is now being used exclusively and openly to threaten prosecutions and investigations of people who dare criticize the government.

The same Russian media. Two different articles. A difference of 4 years.

"Europe is often presented as this massive bureaucracy that created all these rules. Actually, it does the reverse. It has harmonised the rules of 27 countries. And that makes trade easier, provides for economic growth, gives people lower prices and higher living standards." ~AA

It's nice that everyone now cares about forced displacement of a population.

In May 2024, my wonderful wife Isabella was diagnosed with breast cancer. A whirlwind followed - surgery, 4 months of gruelling chemo, and more. She showed huge strength. She’s now taking on a 100km trek for CoppaFeel. Please sponsor her if you can: www.justgiving.com/page/isabell...

The UK government has officially banned the emergency use of the bee-toxic pesticide Cruiser SB, marking a significant shift in policy after years of approvals. 🐝 #bees #savethebees #pesticides #ukgov #uknews

Dear BBC Two NATO members are NOT 'feuding over territory'. One NATO member ie The USA in the person of its President, Trump, has threatened the sovereign territory of not one but TWO NATO members ie Denmatk (Greenland) and Canada. Words matter especially in cases like this.
