#demography folks There is a curious paper in PNAS that tracks life expectancy vs income for 6 decades in Sweden. It calculates e40 for each percentile of the population… in a weird way (see third screenshot). Any thoughts? www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/... (I'm sure the flimsy methods are consequentual)
