My package was scanned into the PostNL system at 01:22, departed at 02:52 and cleared Heathrow customs by 19:26. I will be amazed if Royal Mail can keep up the efficiency and deliver tomorrow as the app says. I feel silly having hope but I am desperate for my new socks!

I’m just watching the final episode of Channel 4’s ‘go back to where you came from’ and I am absolutely overjoyed that James from South Sudan 1) made it to the Uk, 2) was granted refugee status and 3) lives in my city! I hope he’s living his best life and is safe and warm. Open legal routes.
