Right, it doesn't support hardware RAID. But for my use case at home, software RAID1 is more than enough.

I bought a new NAS computer (with space for 4 disks) and installed Ubuntu Server, so I can manage everything the way I want. In may case with RAID1 via mdadm.
I sold my old QNAP so at the end it wasn't the expensive.

But, if you know nothing (Jon Snow) it will help you to have something that may work but that it will probably be not that good, it'll be complicated to maintain and to evolve.

He explained me some concepts and show me some of his own examples and I managed to rewrite my little example following his advice. Now it looks way better, cleaner and simpler.
So, if you know what you are working on, like your day to day programming language or framework, AI is really useful.

It copy files to one server or more depending some variables, uses templates,... nothing really fancy.
Then I asked a friend that knows Ansible a few questions and showed him the code. His first comment was: "That works but there are a lot of bad things that you shouldn't do that way".
