We've been back home for about a week. Still in the throes of unpacking hell-- chaos & boxes everywhere. Utterly exhausted & pacing myself so I don't completely crash. Planning to get fully back into creating fun things after we're settled in and I can recover my strength. But it's nice to be home.

Wait till they hear how every famous painter always had models posing or just straight up painted on site. Mucha was super into photos and would put grids on prints to copy them. Rembrandt used camera obscura. There are no rules to art and anyone who tells you otherwise doesn’t want you to succeed.

Still here. I've been lurking. Mental health has tanked after waves at everything but I'm surviving. I just haven't had the oomph to do anything creative. We'll be moving back into the house in early March. After that, maybe I'll have enough of a sense of normalcy to start doing things again.
