“For far too long the US has minted pennies which literally cost us more than 2 cents. This is so wasteful!” - Trump So let's mint more nickels to cover their increased use, which cost even more to make! Coins are not representative of their actual metal value, but of their intrinsic value.

Elon predicts 'hundreds of millions' of people will have his brain chips implanted in the next 20 years. Can't see anything wrong with that! Says no one with any intelligence. Cue dystopian scifi story with a malevolent overlord (AI perhaps) able to control a large part of the population.
