While I like this idea, I'm getting concerned about the number of petitions that appear to be just feel-good and symbolic while having little chance of going anywhere. One example is "Let's strip Elon Musk of his Canadian citizenship." While amusing, I don't think there's any mechanism to do that.

Three further things to keep in mind: 1--This is not a trade war. It is a general aggression currently using trade as tactic. I'd like to see creativity in non-trade countermeasures. 2--Any countermeasure will also hurt us, it's true. That's a cost. Choose ones that hurt them too. 3-Hit 'em hard.
