The New York Times is piling on the trans community to defeat our spirit and try to crush us when we're down. We're not backing down. I'll continue to be a thorn in the sides of people going after the trans community until the day I die. I will never stop fighting for this community.

It is 1979 and the New York Times is attacking healthcare for trans people. It is 2025 and the New York Times is attacking healthcare for trans people. It is.....

When Dobbs came down, the media rightly saw it as the culmination of a decades long effort to eliminate abortion rights by the conservative legal movement. When Skrmetti came down, the media blamed trans people and not that same conservative legal machine. It's the same court and lawyers.

The NYT was cited in the Supreme Court ruling used to strip trans people of healthcare. This is EXACTLY WHY the “just asking questions” crowd of centrist edgelord journalists are dangerous. They launder transphobia through faux neutral “debate” and act like it’s intellectual curiosity

Having a bit of a hard time with the concept that if a guy in a police uniform who has a police vehicle shows up I should lock the doors and call 911, but if a guy in a ski mask with an hGH gut appears to be kidnapping my neighbor, I shouldn’t ask who he is if I don’t want federal charges.

endorsements for zohran mamdani: we fucking love this guy. please vote for him. he is fucking sick and trust him with our lives endorsements for andrew cuomo: i don’t even really like the guy i promise

Reactions from the ACLU on Skrmetti, line with my thinking: The decision is a little more limited and leaves many rulings against anti-transgender laws in tact. However, it also creates huge loopholes to target transgender people, and the medical care ban will cause horror.

Sotomayor points out the similarities between the Skrmetti ruling allowing discrimination against transgender people's medical care to Virginia's argument for its interracial marriage ban in Loving.

The federal government imposing a stop work order on Trevor project for the national 988 suicide hotline on the same day that the Supreme Court greenlit a ban on care despite the risk of suicide sends a clear message: The United States government officially wants trans youth to kill themselves.

Hmmm... seems bad that Senate Dems are pretending not to know anything about this specific provision in the bill when asked by @ericmgarcia.bsky.social... Seems like coordinated faux ignorance.

I need y'all to understand what the NYT, Dem donors, and centrists are doing here. They're pushing the narrative that trans people went too far and we deserve what is happening to us. It's pure victim blaming and it's not done yet, there's a Confessore piece in the works with the same framing.

Good job being a useful pick me for Fox News, Sarah.

ICE just arrested Brad Lander, the NYC Comptroller and one of the leading candidates for Mayor, without grounds. He was conducting routine immigration court work, escorting individuals from hearings. He asked ICE for their warrant - well within his legal rights. This is political intimidation.

without fail whenever a leftwinger is close to winning or wins a democratic election centrist media talks about democracy being on the brink of collapse

They are literally attempting to re-write history. "You may have had rights in the past, but now we are changing it so you never did"

Gavin Newsom vetoed a data broker privacy bill that our legislature passed last year that would have allowed Californians to opt out of all data brokers with a single click.

Oh... www.wired.com/story/cfpb-q...

My wife and I had a Hindu wedding ceremony in her parents backyard and the HOA bitched about it and fined them. Over the years my FIL has built up an Indian voting bloc and now they control the whole thing and he walks around the development like this telling white people to mow their fucking lawn

I'm sorry but the largest protest of my lifetime is not the 7th or 8th biggest news story in the country behind "what does Gen Z want from Instagram?" This shit is humiliating. Rearrange your layout to meet this moment. Omitting the thing happening in every American city is malpractice.

it’s crazy how life for everyone has just gotten noticably worse immediately as trump became president again

1. You voted to confirm her. 2. Why did you stand there it looks like you’re wearing a wizard hat

Why do you think the oligarchs took direct control of social media and manipulated it towards the far right? 2020 scared the shit out of them and they spent the last 5 years making sure it couldn't happen again.

Holy shit this video is actually happening Watch till the end it gets uncanny

Arrested for CSA and CSAM is the Republican version of Democrats dying in office.

if nuclear apocalypse happens before one piece finishes i’m gonna be soooo fucking mad

Lol. She fucking apologized to Riley Gaines. I knew staying out of praising her for the weakest of allyship while partially throwing trans people under the bus was the right choice.

was always rather astonished by Trumps willingness to work with a guy who sleeps next to Chekhov’s gun

all conservatives moving today like Trump and Elon both planted a bomb in their skulls and they’re trying to decide who’s is more likely to fail

funniest day online since the billionaire submersible went missing

battle to see who kills themself first

This group exists for the specific purpose of trying to get Dems to throw trans people under the bus.

I'm glad that AB Hernandez competitors in California had her back, but this is sickening. She got the longest triple jump, but was forced to share 1st place and the podium because she's banned from competing as any other cis athlete, is segregated. I hate what they are doing to trans youth there.

I get that top surgically đź’Ż #transally

Whore moans? Is she anguished has the Ripper struck yet again?

In our case challenging President Trump's anti-trans passport policy, we received an April ruling that required the government to issue our clients updated, accurate passports. On Tuesday we'll be in court to extend this win to everyone impacted by the policy. Your questions answered here.

if the democratic party wasn’t a gerontocracy this would have failed. gerry connelly staying in office til he died allowed this to pass. this is echoes of RBG not retiring. when will democrats fucking learn
