Reminder of all the craven malignant co-conspirators who are part of the destruction we’re currently witnessing and how #PierrePoilievre is very much tied to these same fascists & neonazis. #StopPoilievre #ElbowsUp #FluTruxKlan #StopMusk #cdnpoli

I know that everyone who voted for Doug Ford will be pleased to hear that he’s doing exactly what he campaigned on - giving MPPs a pay raise. After all, they only earn $116,550 a year. Classic Doug. Getting it done for the people.

This

the Trump administration is already walking back the Mexico/Canada tariffs

Trudeau: "We're probably gonna keep booing the American anthem. But let me tell Americans: we're not booing you ... we're booing a policy that is designed to hurt us. And we're insulted ... we're gonna fight. And we're gonna win."

Even more relevant now. Look closely at who stands with Canada -- and who makes excuses for Trump's attack on it. www.nationalobserver.com/2025/02/21/o...

This is such a YIKES photo. Danielle Smith, Donald Trump, and Kevin O'Leary at Mar A Lago, selling out Canada.

Trudeau: "Every country is very aware that if the American government is willing to do this to their own closest ally, neighbor, and friend, everyone is vulnerable to a trade war."

Easy to lose this in the noise of the day, but the prime minister of Canada just said the US president, leader of the global hegemon, wants to soften us up economically so he can annex us. That is one of the most remarkable statements, and realities, in our history.

If you are using an American bank in Canada, switch your bank to a Canadian bank— preferably a credit union.

"But, overall, the best defense against authoritarianism is a mass movement that is highly visible, disruptive, and resilient." open.substack.com/pub/antiauth...

ICYMI, my Loonie Politics column: Doug Ford has yet again bamboozled Ontario #cdnpoli

Russia’s errand boy is in the Oval Office, trying to weaken us AND liberal democracy worldwide. This is a RED ALERT.

Per @juliadavisnews.bsky.social: “Next on Putin’s menu:”

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau today: "The United States launched a trade war against Canada, its closest partner and ally, their closest friend. At the same time they’re talking about working positively with Russia, appeasing Vladimir Putin: a lying, murderous dictator. Make that make sense,”

Zelensky wisely offers own peace plan: “First stages could be the release of prisoners and truce in the sky - ban on missiles, long-ranged drones, bombs on energy and other civilian infrastructure - and truce in the sea immediately.” Moscow’s move now. Expect reply to be another missile barrage…

I've been saying it for years, but Canada should ban cryptocurrency altogether.

Sooooo stupid! www.cnn.com/2025/02/03/p...

Trudeau: "I want to speak first directly to the American people. We don't want this. We want to work with you as a friend and ally. We don't want to see you hurt either. But your government has chosen to do this to you. As of this morning, markets are down and inflation is set to rise dramatically."

Why is Trump doing so many unlawful things? Because he thinks he's already captured the judiciary. Why? You have to understand what John Roberts wrote in Trump v. US:

SCOOP: Business leaders are paying as much as $5,000,000 to meet one-on-one with President Donald Trump at his Florida compound, sources tell WIRED, while others are paying $1,000,000 apiece to dine with him in a group setting.

Trudeau: "They're talking about working positively with Russia, appeasing Vladimir Putin- a lying, murderous, dictator. Make that make sense. Canadians are reasonable and we are polite. But we will not back down from a fight...Canada will be implementing 25% tariffs against $155b of American goods."

Excellent article and suggestions. Canada's pushback to US economic bullying can be more than "we do tariffs too". The proposal here is extremely targeted; for most people it will be economically beneficial, but the tech billionaires who drive Trump's regime would be directly targeted.

In the 6th year of an ongoing pandemic of a highly transmissible, airborne virus that still kills & disables - not to mention measles outbreaks - masks have officially been criminalised by the US president. Welcome back to the Dark Ages.

Today you are going to see nearly every editorial piece written in Postmedia publications blaming Canadians or liberals for the trade war. This is to distract from the fact that they have American ownership, and have been arguing against Canadian interests for sometime.

Trump's tariffs are here—and they threaten to wreck Canada's economy. Grabbing the nearest “Made in Canada” label won’t shield us from the fallout. We need emergency measures to protect workers from job losses, price gouging, rent hikes, and evictions. breachmedia.ca/trumps-trade...

"The Man from Moscow": Trump on the cover of French Le Point

Ban Starlink in Canada. Doug Ford. @liberalca.bsky.social

Well, yes, that’s the point - Trump and his cronies *want* to bankrupt the US and disrupt the global economy. They work for Russia with China’s support. They want a new world order. Wake up America and *do* something before it’s too late (& don’t count on the Democrats to save you)

At the start of the Covid pandemic, Jay Bhattacharya said deaths would likely be “limited,” probably in the 20K-40k range. He was off by at least 25x. Now he denies saying that & he’s Trump’s pick to head the NIH. Read all about the big mistake he won’t admit. www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

At this point countries should consider banning Musk products and sanctioning him outright like he’s a Russian oligarch. Nothing better you could do for the pro-constitutional forces in the US than helping economically annihilate this man

“Illegal protests” Trump’s crackdown on opposing voices continues. If you think this is going to be limited to just school campuses, think again.

The #tradewar is on. Real-time electricity prices doubled few minutes after midnight EST in New England. 🔌💡
