I’ve finished reading this wonderful book. What an amazing journey the author took me on and all cleverly linked. Seemlessly talking about The Green Goddess one moment and soon after it’s all about Justin Fashnu, but no clunky direction changes.

Just watched Ian Dury & The Blockheads from Hammersmith 1985 that was on Sky over Xmas and it was absolutely brilliant. Makes me upset that I didn’t pay attention when I saw him live supporting Madness in the early 90s. What a fool the young Indiepopper was!

I’ve been loving darts on the radio for a few years. They get the perfect balance of telling you what’s happening and chatting darts and it’s so much more than just them reading out scores. I hope TalkSport keeps supporting this.

I think I only managed England, Scotland, France and Romania. Not non league though. I did go to a Hungarian 2nd division match last year that was like non league! My other foreign trips never coincided with matches. Have been to Wisla Krakow and the atmosphere was superb, highly recommend
