@lauracrone.nebula.tv I loved your pedantic breakdown of If We Were Villains bc when I read it it was clear to me that the author had no idea how production actually works (there… are no SM or costuming or set design majors?) so it was gratifying to learn i wasn’t the only one annoyed haha

my friend and I have a joke that if I ever teach a #playwriting class it will be called "mind your business" bc I am obsessed with stage business. Obviously stage business is just what your actor is literally doing but conceptually I think it's actually the key to writing good scenes period.
