Analysed for @carnegieendow.bsky.social the multidimensional challenge that Russian hybrid warfare poses to European countries. Democratic societies are vulnerable to attacks in ways that can’t fully be prevented if democracy is to prevail. That requires flexibility and creativity in responding.

Wir sagen - zu Recht! - zu Leuten in Sachsen, Thüringen, etc.: Wer schweigt, macht sich mitschuldig! Warum sollte das bei Palästinensern anders sein? Warum ist dieser "Take" "so unfassbar unangenehm und unfair"? Weil er brutal deutlich die moralische Verrottung bloßstellt?

Die Ukraine muss ihre Kinder zu Gefahren unterrichten, welche sich keine Eltern hier im Westen für seine eigenen Kinder wünschen würde. Minen und Blindgänger, Erste Hilfe, Schutz vor Bombenangriffen, etc. In Odessa wurde dazu ein eigener Schulungs-Container erstellt, welcher nun unterwegs ist.

Dies ist ein massiv unterschätzter Punkt. Würde die UA den Krieg auf die gleiche Weise führen wie RU, könnte RU seine Grenzen und Städte nicht unvereidigt lassen und müsste Ressourcen von der Front abziehen. Ein sehr kontroverses Thema. 🫤 Ich wäre vermutlich nicht so zurückhaltend. 🤔

This lack of moderation is becoming a serious issue @bsky.app , when even a fake profile of a news outlet does not get deleted (and not even a warning despite reports). There are plenty of impersonated accounts, and while a few weeks ago you issued impersonation warnings fast, now not even that?
