If this was a Netflix series, January 2025 would be Episode 1. By Episode 3 we’ll be piling camping equipment into the back of an SUV and setting off to find that kooky relative who lives off grid in the woods near the Canadian border. Fun to watch, but I don’t want to live in this series.

Why is it that #Apple just cannot help itself from messing up at least one perfectly functional system/app with every update? Just so that we can spend 10 minutes swearing and looking up how to reverse what didn’t need to be done in the first place?

1 - We just cancelled our @washingtonpost.com print subscription. At nearly $900/year, and considering its owner’s recent actions, it’s too much. Keeping the online edition because it IS our local paper. It breaks my heart to end a lifetime of walking (sometimes sliding, sometimes dodging rain) …
