Seattle Bike Disco time again this time starting from Northgate and testing the rain or shine policy!

Mayor Harrell also had a Vision Zero. how's that going?

did Bruce mention this in his state of the city speech or is it just implied

with voters *overwhelmingly* backing funding for social housing it's a good time to ask 1. why did the mayor have all references to social housing removed from the comp plan? 2. why is social housing illegal in 80% of city's land area in the mayor's comp plan?

no car? no problem! 🧃 #bikesky #SEAbikes

Based on the addresses of the appellants filed, their homes are worth a combined $8,998,100 or $1,799,620 on average How much more will their property gain after the months or year stalling this plan with only an $85 fee?

the median home values of the neighborhoods these appeals represent are double seattle's average it costs $85 for the wealthy to prevent more affordable housing from more of the city. it's telling none of these groups represent renters. we should have a path to sue for MORE housing

enjoy this footage of a working several-decades old mercury arc rectifier. you can see it in person if you visit the @connectionsmuseum.bsky.social! (although unfortunately we can't turn it on for visitors)

just found this gem: www.youtube.com/@theseattlec...

Really terrible to see the endorsement of Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell by @kccclaudia.bsky.social and @pramilajayapal.bsky.social 1. He’s cut essential services like tenant protections & raided Jump Start 2. He’s actively undermined the wildly popular & voter-approved Social Housing Initiative

Mister Harrell, tear down this wall!! For those that don’t know, the park renovations are complete but the historical commission won’t let them open it
