Speed is survival. The Huntress never stands still, her homing arrows and piercing glaive ensure that she can fight while dodging every attack. Can you keep up? ⚡ Follow our Kickstarter now! www.kickstarter.com/projects/ner... #riskofrain #boardgame

Played this gem a handful of times today. Still great.

Played in the 2025 ice bowl yesterday. Despite playing poorly I had a good time closing out the winter season. We raised thousands of dollars for the food bank which will provide tens of thousands of meals, so everyone is a winner.

Tonight’s Pinball - Space Cadet custom table by JP Salas. This is an amazing recreation of the old windows 95 fans I played for hours at a time on our 90’s era family PC, an Acer Aspire. Such an amazingly well built custom, it is inspiring to see how many tables JP has done.

Tonight’s Pinball - Grimm Tales by Zen Pinball. Spent the evening installing a couple of new toys in the cab, troubleshooting buttons, and testing out new leaf switches. Now to figure out some good cable management.

Tonight’s Pinball - The Princess Bride table (Zen pinball FX). Such a great digital table with so many wonderful Easter eggs and perfect audio clips for effects. We recently watched the movie with our 10 year old and he loved it. Currently 750th on the global LB, with room for improvement.

Tonight’s Pinball - Tales of the Arabian Nights (Williams 1996). If you spent any time in an arcade as a kid, you likely remember seeing the lamp spinning around and around on this table and hearing the very active audio when the table was in play. The Genie always wins…

Tonight’s Pinball - Indiana Jones The Pinball Adventure (Williams 1993). Great build by VPW with amazing lighting and extremely realistic physics. This table is just a difficult as the real thing. It always leaves the player feeling like they can best their previous score.

Tonight’s Pinball - Batman (1991 Data East). Great art, fun shots into the Bat-cave, and just packed with nostalgia from the actual arcades of my 90’s childhood. Really love this table.

Tonight’s Pinball - Original MF DOOM table by GOILL773 (and a great team of people who picked it up to finish it. This is my favorite original table and I find myself coming back to it repeatedly. Challenging and fun, with AMAZING effects and sound. A fitting tribute to an artist we lost too young.

Tonight’s pinball, “Eight Ball Champ” from Bally, 1985. Very simple table where the player pockets balls by hitting drop targets and then hits the left orbit to pocket the eight ball. Great table for practicing shot aim without an overbearing amount going on.

Watched Interstellar for the first time last night. Wow. The hype a decade ago was well deserved, it’s an intense ride the entire film. Afterwards, listened to over three hours of physicists talking about the science of the film.

Day 4 of the kind of body flu aches that make you question your entire existence…

I was today years old when I learned that the lead singer of Toto, Joe Williams, is the son of legendary composer John Williams.

Proud of the team at Nerdvana and can’t wait to get this game onto your tables. Soon!

We are only a few hours into the Holiday break but one of the kids decided to bring home an early present from school… 101+ fever is not the way anyone deserves to start Christmas vacation. :(

Welp, the oldest found his table… can’t wait to get the pinball cabinet built for the full effect.

Decided to bust out the parts for the virtual pinball cabinet this weekend and the kiddo hopped right into action. On the lookout for reclaimed plywood over the break to complete the actual cabinet build. Really enjoying watching him fall in love with pinball like both his dad and Grandfather did.

Winter warriors week 7! Great card and wonderful weather!

The oldest has caught the pinball bug lately. I’m genuinely thrilled to lend my desk to him for some games on the vertical screen. We still have hopes of building a digital cabinet someday soon!

I won’t be at PAX U this year, we’ve got a ton of stuff on deck and it wasn’t in the cards for 2024. See y’all at GAMA I hope!

All types of classics on the table tonight. Also, the kiddo is a ringer at Shut the box! #boardgames

This is down the street from our house. You can also probably see it from the ISS for Christ’s sake…

I know my following here is 100% for board games and the tabletop world. But, I won my disc golf charity league this week and I’m pretty stoked, there are a bunch of amazing players in the group including my dubs partner this week. Feels good man.
