It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office. Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc. Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

Not sure why this might be helpful today… but sharing just in case.

The Musk-rats at DOGE are celebrating after letting a billionaire break into the U.S. Treasury and illegally fire thousands of dedicated public servants. Show them how wrong they are with a DC-style NOISE DEMO. Bring your loudest instruments. Saturday, Feb. 22, 8pm 1375 Maryland Ave. NE

More of this. The fuck are you doing promoting a book when the country is falling apart?

Of course, never do this. Explicitly avoid doing this, using this very diagram.

"North Carolina senator Thom Tillis told people that the FBI warned him about 'credible death threats' when he was considering voting against Pete Hegseth’s nomination for defense secretary... "Tillis ultimately provided the crucial 50th vote to confirm." www.vanityfair.com/news/story/t...

People need to understand this: Trump did not leave office willingly the first time. If his health holds up, he will not leave office willingly this time. He is not joking about serving more than two terms.

New: DOGE's spending has been secret. No longer. My colleagues have uncovered it. www.propublica.org/article/doge...

25% of U.S. adults say the "Department" of Government Efficiency (DOGE) should be eliminated, the highest percentage for any department d3nkl3psvxxpe9.cloudfront.net/documents/ec...

So if you criticize Elon Musk, Trump’s DOJ will send you this letter. Members of Congress must have the right to forcefully oppose the Trump Administration. I will not be silenced.

Crockett: He went from being the dork that was jumping around on stage to allegedly being this amazing genius that's gonna save a country he wasn't born in, and one that maybe he doesn't agree w/the idea of a democratic republic, considering the fact he may have been more on the side of apartheid.

Unexpected niche beat for @melissagiragrant.com: Covering the myriad protests happening right now despite claims on social media that 'no one is protesting.'

Want to go visit the national parks this year? Sorry. The reservation system is shut down, EMT personnel are gone, so don't get hurt or lost. No one can clean the bathrooms or cabins, so they'll be closed. Rangers are fired. www.sfchronicle.com/bayarea/arti...

Big, growing crowd just west of the U.S. Capitol protesting Trump, Musk and DOGE on President’s Day. “Hey Congress, grow a spine,” they shout, gathering for a rally around the reflecting pool.

And for the third straight day, the rest of the legacy media did nothing to stand up for the First Amendment. No boycott, no walkout, nothing but business as usual. Then, they wonder why people are canceling subscriptions and turning off their TV's while independent news outlets are thriving.

Elon Musk and DOGE have failed to cut spending despite creating massive chaos in the federal government, according to a review of official data by The Economist. In fact, spending might actually be up since Trump took office.

Musk's illegal firing spreed increased the number of people unemployed in the US by 3%

There are 216,079 probational federal employees, if over 200k people lose their jobs at once...what kind of economic impact does that have? Obvi it's bad but how bad

Join us on Saturday! Hit Musk where he's vulnerable. The majority of Musk's wealth is tied to his stake in Tesla and its inflated value. Help pop the bubble. Find an event, host your own and get our ToolKit at TeslaTakedown.com AND PLEASE REPOST

Brianna Keilar: Do you think that calling Elon Musk a dick is effective messaging? Congressman Robert Garcia: Well, he is a dick.

How much Elon Musk makes from the government a day: $8 million. How much a senior on Social Security gets a day: $65 Guess which budget Musk and Trump want to cut?

According to DOGE... $65 for grandma: waste $8 million for the richest man in the world: not waste

@chrisvanhollen.bsky.social & other Dems say they will OBSTRUCT & DELAY Senate proceedings, so long as the coup continues. On Mon, there was 1 request for unanimous consent; on Tues, there were 3 requests. No one objected to any of them. @wbaltv11.bsky.social @baltimorebrew.bsky.social

Tesla's stock is ridiculously overvalued, and even a modest consumer boycott could tank the company, which accounts for the majority of Elon Musk's wealth. The divestment movement weakened apartheid South Africa. Let's do that again. slate.com/business/202...

This says it all

How do the non-alarmists think this is going to end? Do they think Trump will follow court orders? Are they imagining the Supreme Court will step in and Trump will listen to them? Do they think it's no big deal that Trump will control the entire government? Or, are they just in denial?

my view is that as soon as the administration froze disbursement of congressional appropriations we entered constitutional crisis territory
