Why isn’t there a Wild Wild West reboot show? Audiences are aware enough of the movie and Smith won’t mind royalties from using his song. But what’s interesting to note is that the show is even more bizarre and outlandish than the movie, giving the reboot more places to go.

I want to propose the term “Closed Serialization.” This would be the style of serialization that builds off of prior events and creates a broader arc across the series, but never presents itself as set up for future stories.
