Sometimes one single cloud can take my attention. This one did yesterday morning

If your day has been difficult, or if you’re feeling anxious, here’s some Cornish medicine to ease your heart. It might not change things much but hopefully a moment of calm will help in a small way. May your evening be peaceful, my friends. 😊 #Cornwall #sunset #sky #ocean #calm #peace #photography

This image fits today's #monochrome theme for the #BlueSkyArtShow. This old snag sat in the surf on a North Florida beach for a few years after it died. I made thousands of images of it while it stood. #photography #landscapephotography #infrared #ir #720nm #EastCoastKin

Here's an image for today's #BlueSkyArtShow with a #monochrome theme. Split Rock can be visually enjoyed on Rialto Beach in Olympic National Park. It was rainy, wet, cool and overcast on this day. In other words, it was perfect. #photography #landscapephotography #EastCoastKin #bnw

A fellow infrared photographer, Jeet’s work is gorgeous! #BlueSkyArtShow #monochrome

I love photographing lily pads in infrared. Especially at 720nm. It really brings the contrast, especially how water is rendered as very dark to black. Throw in some clouds and that's where the fun starts. #photography #ir #infrared #clouds #EastCoastKin

Morning Silence - Sonoma Coast I made this image on the morning of my 1st Father's Day. Couldn't have thought of a more peaceful way to celebrate.

I wrapped up all my night shooting and went for a walk down the beach. Camera gear in my truck a half mile away and this happened. Broke out the trusty Galaxy S22, set it for pro mode and fired away. Edited the dng file in Lightroom. Get out there. #photography #cellphonephography #sunrise

How do you shut down your brain at 1am when alternating between rethinking every mistake you’ve made in the past year, and playing out worst-case scenarios for everything in your foreseeable future so that today’s second thought category isn’t just rotating into tomorrow’s first thought category?

She’s gone, and it feels like with her, my entire heart. Fewer than 8 hours from collapse to euthanasia due to congestive heart failure. Please, hold your fur babies tight, treat them like the family members that they are, and show them at every opportunity how much you love them. I am so broken.

Why do I now have to text “2” to confirm a medical appointment? Was “Y” for “Yes” somehow unclear?
