However diffucult it may seem. Just look at Spurs and laugh.... 🤣🤣🤣🤣 COYG

Martin O Neill accusing Martin Keown of being a biased Arsenal supporter while he entuses about a Forest team, who plays like they're in the Championship, as if they're Real Madrid. Pot. Kettle. Black.

What an awful team Forest are. Third in the league and they play like an away cup team at home. Yes, Arsenal lack attackers, but you know at least we did go forward and try. TNT pretending there's the possibility of us winning the title. It's all about consolidating top4 so good point imo.

Our ability to score from corners has really abandoned us. We never score from direct free kicks. We don't have that many shots or chances. But we sure do pass that ball around the pitch. The boys are trying but it seems like we have to do twice as much work as most teams to score a goal.

Bit more zip, dominating possession but still little chance creation. Watching you think when is Forest gonna break and score. It's inevitable. Our tactic seems to be to play Calafiori as far up front as possible and for everyone to rotate positions....but sometimes we are mesmerising ourselves.

Ok time to support the team. COYG.

Stats v. perception. So very confusing. Arsenal need a striker. Can't score they say. Yet we're fifth best scorers. We've also conceded second least goals. Apparently we've had an awful season. Reality is we've done well under the circumstances we've faced. But it's trophies that count in the end.

@arseblog.bsky.social @gunnerblog.bsky.social #arsecastextra Arteta said we had to do something new....but all I saw was more of the same Saturday. Different personnel, same slow predictable approach. It was like this b4 the Saka injury. Does Arteta have to go back to the drawing board?

Expect Arsenal marketing team to plant stories : "big" business in the summer transfer window. There's memberships and season tickets to sell. They did it already with Zubemendi story to offset the negativity of the Jan transfer debacle. But the thing their news mamagement can't control is injuries!

Congrats in advance to Liverpool on their twentieth title. Slot was brave (or was told, who knows) not to spend big in the summer. So, good call him. But you would think the way some are talk he inherited a team that required a rebuild. He had an excellent squad at his disposal. Let's be honest.

I don't blame the players. They've been firefighting all season with more chance of catching a cold than a break. I blame the ownership fully. The manager has kept a brave face covering for them. There's a reason why Edu left so abruptly. He knew.

Where is Josh Kroenke? The illusive scarlet pimpernel. We seek him here, we seek him there... Not a word from the ownership, not surprisingly, as to why they decided to wave the white flag in January. A pretend attempt at buying Watkins to make it loom like they tried. Pathetic.

Liverpool have two hands on the PL title with 9 days to go now. They are a good team obviously with an iconic player in Salah. But this season they have faced no real injuries, a below par City without Rodri and an Arsenal ravaged by inuries whose board stubbornly decided to do nothing about it.

Will be ironic if Liverpool go and lose to City tomorrow. If they do there'll be those who will think there's still hope. Mathenatically, sure, but in reality we'd need Saka and Martinelli to be back and hit the ground running. Plus Sakah to be injured. Even then I think we'd contrive to f@#k up.

We've scored goals but not in tight games v well drilled teams. In fact, we're more likely to concede on the break. Arteta said we'd have to try something new....it just looked like more of the same. Slow, predictable, lacking threat. Yes, it's not easy v a good defence but title winners find a way.

If we negotiate the PSV game, and it's a big if, Real Madrid will thump us and wouldn't hold out that we'd give Atetico any trouble either. Decisions made by the club have spectacularly kicked us in the teeth. The failure to buy attackers over the last two years has lost us three titles.

What I'd like to hear is a bit of honesty from the manager. That performance was unacceptable. Yes, we've had lots of difficulties this season, a lot actually self inflicted, but there's no excuse for limping to defeat at home like that in a titke run in. No fight. No threat. Embarrassing really.

PSV is not a bad draw in the end, but it will lead to Madrid if we navigate it. Probably Real, although Atelico game is a derby and strange things can happen in derbies. We so need Saka and Martinelli to be back by then to have a chance.

With a full squad....Saka, Martinelli, Jesus, Havertz, Tomi back... I'd be fairly confident we'd push Liverpool to the end. We've been incredible not to let constant injuries and redicilous decisions see us slip down the table. Still, I think we'll come up short. Pity cos Liverpool aren't all that.

Let's hope Villa are up for it against Liverpool tomorrow night in the same manner in which they were for Arsenal. Fairs fair.

Like Spurs, Arsenal have had a really bad season for injuries. But we're currently second and a whole 23 points ahead of them #MindTgeGap. But, apparently, you can play American football at their stadium 🙄 🏈

So Liverpool got a penalty. No surprise there. No surprise VAR ignored the obvious push by Diaz either. Konate stayed on the pitch too. Some say it's winning when you're poor, I say it's things just going for you.

Leicester City and Van Divelroy deserved to be sucker punched. Such negativity. We live to fight another day. If we could just get Martinelli and Saka back there is still at least hope. Come on Wolves. COYG.

Time to really get behind the team. All the injuries we've suffered & the rediculous points robbing refereeing decisions we've faced, it's amazing that this team has reached second place in PL and through to last 16 of CL. We have an amazing manager & team. They meed to know that. COYG.

I hope Sky, Talksport and all the rest call Liverpool out for their final whistle scenes. If it was Arteta and Arsenal, it'd fill their schedule for weeks. Liverpool were poor and are lucky they've been able to keep Salah injury free, who bales them out time and time again.

Has somebody in Liverpool got some voodoo dolls of our squad and been sticking pins in them. Never remember such a season for injuries. The club has left themselves severely exposed squad wise. They had better rectify that in the Summer. This season is all about maintaining our top 4 place now.

Imagine if Arsenal were just put out of the FA Cup by the team bottom of the Championship. Like the Internet would actually explode....💣💥

There's an old Irish saying that goes something like.... "May the Dubai sun shine gently on your faces, may the wind be at your back, and when we meet again, may you have turned into a cynical, goal scoring Premier League winning machine" COYG

So, sad that Havertz gets such criticism. He's an amazing player and plays with his heart and soul every game. I'm a big fan. But he really needed somebody - a body - to come in and give him a breather and take the pressure off. Club hopefully has its reasons with an eye on the summer window 🤞

Should we sell Martinelli to the Saudis for bucket loads of money inorder to afford Isak in the summer? I would.

What we need is Giroud to hold the ball up and/or Henry to put the ball in the net, which is the object of the game. Easy 🤪 You don't get points for possession or ad nausea jinking moves across midfield. Oh, if you take on a shot sometimes you get deflections....a la Partey.

Silence from the Kroenkes. Fans deserve an explanation as to why we failed to add to the squad up front in the face of injuries to Jesus and Saka. As good as Nwaneri is, and he's a gem, it's unfair to put pressure on him to fill the void. Where is Jpsh who said something big was coming ....... ?

Pep interview a bit disingenious to Arsenal I felt. No well done or recognition at all. And they say Arteta is a sore loser.

And Arsenal thump the fraudsters five one....well overdue....pity Haaland scored, but we definitely humbled them. Stones struggling to come to terms with the defeat is a great watch. COYG
