BHM Black sf for 2/20: Ngugi wa Thiong’o’s The Wizard of the Crow (2006). While arguably an odd addition, its slipstream worldbuilding and themes of science as it intersects capital put it in the mix. In the dictatorial country of Aburiria, the Ruler seeks to leave his mark on the global scene.
