EU will not just hit US with retaliatory tariffs, Europeans will join Canadians/Mexicans & stop buying American. It’s simple. It’s not about price, it’s principle. Out of principle we will pay more for equivalent products from other sources. Sometimes Trump forgets not all of us are driven by money.

I used to be fairly laid back and carefree. The loss of loved ones and taking on others problems have deeply changed me. I worry over everything, what I would have previously classed as every day life, I now create worry and stress. We all need an outlet to re-normalise these events.

Sometimes the best thing for your mental health is to switch off social media for a bit. It magnifies your worries and concerns and it’s not wrong if you feel you are sinking in it, to switch off and maybe read a good book or stream a box set like you used to.

UK’s Starmer, has hit the right tone in his output from the EU/plus security meeting. Not one insult, confirming EU/+ all think Trump has a right and valid point to say Europe hasn’t and isn’t doing enough, but excepting at this moment Europe needs US backstop in able to stand to Russia.>
