Today I reached out few people on Instagram about Food Sense - Meal Journal. I hope I can make good connections and collaborations. 🍵 #buildinpublic

Today I asked ChatGPT to act like an iOS tech lead and ask me questions to assess my iOS skill level. It was very helpful and motivating for me. I was able to see my gaps more clearly. It has been a while since I had an interview, so I plan to do this from time to time. 🪷 #ios

My cooking class ran long today, lasted almost 5 hours. Then I went to a yoga workshop, which ended up being 2.5 hours. No indie development today, just a busy and active day. Goodnight everyone! 😴🧘🏻‍♀️🪷

Trying to migrate my very first app Packify from Realm to SwiftData 🏋🏻‍♀️ Sometimes I really feel stuck and I hate working alone, that’s probably one of the hardest parts of being an indie developer. #buildinpublic #indiedevelopment

If you’re an indie developer working on a unique app, your goal isn’t to reach the widest audience. Instead, you’re on a quest to find people who have similar tastes. Once you connect with them, you’ll see how much they value your app.

I went to manual therapy again today for my back and neck pain. Taking time for myself feels good, and I'm happy that we're starting to improve my blood circulation physically. 💆🏻‍♀️ • I definitely need to correct my posture at the desk! •

I want to write blog posts about my app development experiences, but I'm unsure if they will actually be read or gain interest. Below are some ideas I have in mind. Could you let me know if any of the titles interest you? 💛 #indiedevelopment #ios #aso

• birthday release 🎊 • The report screen now has an improved UI and store screenshots are updated! It's still not the final version, but it’s getting better and better. Let me know what you think! ✨ apps.apple.com/us/app/food-... #buildinpublic #indiedevelopment #ios

Health > Hustle. Building apps is great, but don’t forget to maintain the developer -> you. Long hours, no sleep, and too much caffeine won’t make your app succeed faster. Take breaks, move around, and prioritize your health. A healthy dev builds better apps! #indiedev #buildinpublic #indiehackers

She posted her TikTok, and after that, the number of Turkish users increased — but there have been no new subscriptions yet. Also, yesterday she visited my city, and we met in person! It’s really nice that she supports my app and that we share similar views. We had some matcha lattes! 💚

It was a last minute decision and we bought the tickets ~18 hours before the trip 🙃 I used Packify by @iremkaraoglu.bsky.social when packing up our luggage :) apps.apple.com/gb/app/packi...

Came across this much needed post today🤍

Given the same context and pricing, but with different colors and images, which paywall would you be more motivated to pay for a premium version? • Just changed my paywall as the second one. Would love to hear your opinions. #buildinpublic #indiedevelopment #ios

She sent me the first version of her video. It only had the visuals; she will add a voiceover. She also integrated mentioning my app into her daily TikTok videos, and it made me feel proud. 🥹💚🥑 #buildinpublic #indiedevelopment

I gathered the feedbacks I received from different cultures. I’m going back to the development and improve the app 🚀 #buildinpublic #indiedevelopment

I don’t know how it happened again but my app Packify is at #186 in Travel category in Guatemala! 🇬🇹💙 Fingers crossed to many more 🥂 #buildinpublic #indiedevelopment

📊 Interesting insight: 70% of purchases happen during onboarding! Users are most likely to convert when they first join. The settings (16%) and home (14%) screens lag far behind. This clearly indicates how important is to have good first time experience and onboardings #buildinpublic #indiedev

Reddit works better than I expected. It’s easy to reach out to people. I sometimes search for specific countries such as South Korea and I’ve talked with two Koreans about my app, got their feedback on the app and pricing. They were kind and helpful ❤️🇰🇷 #buildinpublic

Today I was so active on Reddit and tried to find relevant people for my app’s target audience. Gave them premium access, I hope they like the app. 🙌🏻 #buildinpublic

Happy New Year everyone! Super happy that @focusapp.bsky.social is part of the App Store’s favorite 25 apps for 2025! 💫😊
