Now to answer your question - taking into account all of the above I think the most likely scenario is that: Trump will try and deploy the US military (not the state guard) on US soil under the authority granted by the Insurrection Act of 1807. likely some will follow orders but large chunks ->

would try to quietly disobey. Complain their communications aren't working or invent issues with transport vehicles. Major disease event. They stay overseas with the navy and some of the air force That leaves you with the red state guard vs the blue state guard... and then you have 1861.... again

or in short the military will fracture along pre determined lines. some of it will stay out of the fight. the rest will pick sides. Hopefully the anti Trump side is stronger because the world would look really weird under Supreme Leader Trump

Making this decision is a huge risk and I'm sure staff are wondering if it'll have an impact on their donations. ICS is also rare in that they don't squeeze their students for cash to keep themselves going. You can support ICS financially, even with a little bit, here: www.icscanada.edu/donate

We need to be humble and let the love God guide us. I read of Christians in the past excluding people including racism and slavery. We are doing it now with lgbt people. Well done to your alma mater indeed
