Getting Started

One year ago today, I took the picture that now occupies my desktop and that takes me back, mentally, anytime I need that retreat. #cliffsofmoher

Today in 2024, I landed in Ireland and enjoyed dinner at Durty Nelly’s in Bunratty, Co. Clare. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back. I also met a rook that starred in some of my favorite pics.

One year ago today, I boarded a flight headed to Shannon, Ireland. I’ll share a bit about that trip over the next few days. Ireland is where my ancestors are from. As if history lives on in the genes passed down from generation to generation, the fiber of my being knew I was home.

Today I needed A reminder of what’s good It is still out there.

“For there is always light, if only we’re brave enough to see it. If only we’re brave enough to be it.” ~ Amanda Gorman, 2021

The perfect view of Galway Bay for this fine Friday.

Rainbow on the Irish countryside.

The Cliffs of Moher back in April 2024. This was one of the most beautiful places I’ve been. Of course, so much of Ireland is counted in the most beautiful places I’ve been.

Last April, I visited Ireland and stayed in a townhouse on Galway Bay. My favorite part was waking up to the peaceful view and sounds of the water. If I could replicate that sense of peace for us all, I sure would. For now, enjoy a snippet of what I recorded.
