Starmer is in a uniquely weak position to stand up to Trump & Musk. His Commons majority rests upon 1/3 of the popular vote, he routinely denies Scotland the 2nd indyref Scotland voted for in 2021. He won't rejoin the Single Market or Customs Union & panders to the right instead of confronting it.

My 85 yr old mother supports Scottish independence. She always says, Scotland's not poor Scotland's rich. The Tories at Westminster won't pay for a spare bedroom, Westminster doesn't give Scotland £billions out of the goodness of its heart. They only keep us because they want our resources.
