For the Devilry Afoot: Edge of Reason scenarios I needed some suitable late 18th - early 19th century watchmen or beadles to support (or to arrest) the hunters. These chaps are from Trent Miniatures' 1798 United Irishmen range - worth checking out! #DevilryAfoot #Wargaming

Well, this escalated fast 😄. Seems the "little side project" grew into something bigger. But I discovered Song of Shadows and Dust by @irregularwars.bsky.social, which uses my favourite skirmish mechanics, so gang fights in ancient cities suddenly sounded really tempting.
