Wonderful to see so many pomegranates (Catherine’s badge) and flowers at the grave of Catherine of Aragon in Peterborough Cathedral. I think she would approve of her tomb memorial, which is simple but effective, naming her as Queen #peterborough #catherineofaragon #tudor

If you want to see the opposite of “obeying in advance,” here it is. Remarkable bravery by Reverend Budde.

Gotta love the British press.

Whatever happens, never forget: READING FOR PLEASURE has the biggest positive impact of any factor on children's life chances. So always make time to share books with kids, and help them find books to love. Make reading central to everything you do. It will change their lives forever! #literacy

JOSEPH: "we said the curfew was 10pm, young man, your mother was sick with worry!" JESUS: "Urgh, shut up! You're not even my real dad..." MARY: "Go to your room, we'll talk about this in the morning"

An extremely important listen as History departments suffer tremendous cuts all over the country.

OK, V&A, just take my money now (although I would also love you to do something on Catherine de Medici's cultural influence)

As a historian of sex ed and a romance reader, I love this piece from @alexandravasti.bsky.social about what information the young women characters in Bridgerton or Austen novels would have had about sex. #romancelandia 🗃️ www.historynewsnetwork.org/article/rege...

A forced-birth “crisis pregnancy” center *illegally intercepted communications* between a patient and a legitimate health center in MASSACHUSETTS. I hope these monsters go to federal prison, but this is also generally horrifying.

Wrong major, dude. I did a History major (undergrad), and averaged about 300 pages of reading per week. Learned to be strategic and read efficiently. If you side-step that, you're robbing yourself of key skills development.
