Something I’ve noticed even more over the last few years his how Conservative/Republican supporters attribute their failures to others lying, cheating, conspiring against them. They can’t lose, elections are stolen, it’s DEI, etc It’s never their own shortcomings, it’s the world against them Sad.

So, about Google maybe being forced to break up It’s funny. Back in the day we had Yahoo!, AltaVista, Google, excite, Hotbot, etc. We had competition, and we had a winner: Google. Competition invariably should lead to winners, but once we get one, we punish them. Irony, thy name is capitalism

So, streamers (Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video etc) are all migrating (however slowly) its subscribers from ad-free plans to plans with ads Didn’t we move away from cable to get away from ads? Wasn’t that their selling feature? Did we get hoodwinked? Or are going right back where we started?
