How lacking in self awareness are they? I saw a sticker that read "We won, get over it." #rememberjan6

Some light houses are small. And that's okay.

Listened to Rick Steves's wonderful hands off speech. Love that guy. But kept thinking that there are people who have followed and trusted Rick for decades now saying "well, I can't watch Rick anymore" instead of hearing the message.

Look, I don't want to be the wet blanket, but ... yes, it was a lot of words, but still just words. I'm waiting for action. So excuse me if I ignore the hit up for a donation that must have been sent as soon as the last word was out of his lips.

To be honest, my first impression of New River Gorge National Park was pretty meh. But today, we added "no tolls" to our maps filter and ventured in deep and discovered the true park. It's much more than a bridge.

First time restaurant dining. Had the scrambled eggs. 10/10 would recommend the Wood Iron Eatery in Fayetteville WV.

Short term stint as ambassadors at the West Virginia Welcome Center.

The girls are off-leash at this gorgeous Kentucky farm and loving it.

I'm on my first big post retirement cross country trip, just as I had planned. But I foresee chaining myself to a bulldozer outside a National Monument or helping to block the transport of an international student in the near future, which I did NOT plan for. Such is life.

Snazzy haircuts. Ready for adventure!

Finally got in to an ortho and a PT to see if I have tendinitis or bone spur. I have both.

My god. People on here still posting that 30yo pic of Al Franken's dumb "joke". if you can't take into account context, intent, subsequent performance, you can't really participate in any meaningful conversation.
