Such a shame to hear Mighty Mouse is as ignorant as the other 90% of MMA fighters. I had him down as one of the good guys.

Kind of a hot take, but HW is the worst weight class in the UFC above even W135. Even though W135 is less talented the fans know its flaws and the UFC treat it largely as card filler, whereas HW still gets the bells and whistles of a marquee division when it doesn't warrant it.

Valentine's Day makes me wish I had someone who loved me as much as Frank Mir loved WEC Miguel Torres.

Given how carney the MMA world is I wanna give a shoutout to former fighter Rosi Sexton. Doctorate in Maths and Computer Science, mental health advocate, trained pianist and stood as a Green Party Candidate in the UK.

I’m not necessarily the biggest fan of her, but why is Mayra Bueno Silva on the prelims of an overseas fight card when she fought for a title 13 months ago?

At the rate the GFL are going they’re gonna announce they’ve signed Gina and Tank Abbott next.

The Pereira vs Ankalaev debate has highlighted to me the division in how fans see the UFC (and MMA). If you see the promotion as entertainment and business product, you favor Pereira. If you see the promotion as a sport and meritocracy, you favor Ankalaev.

Happy anniversary to the greatest night in the history of our sport.

I feel like people have been calling Beneil Dariush washed for the past decade. The pitfall of going grey early.

Hot take: Mokaev revealing the UFC told him to strike vs Kape was as big a reason for him being released as his style/being an ass. It exposed the UFC doing the same thing they vilified EliteXC for doing with Kimbo vs Seth.

@jetpackbraggin.bsky.social Hey man. I was sent to speak to you by Jay from OSW. I’m looking to make a Vice City homage for my latest thumbnail and was hoping you could help if possible.

A LHW smart enough to wrestle a kick-boxer? Put Bruno Lopes in a title fight ASAP. #UFCVegas101

I'm not sure what type of clickbait is worse. Photoshopping a scenario which never happened or the creator pulling a face that makes them look like a peashooter from Plants vs Zombies.

Who IYO is the highest ranked HW 2024 Stipe could've beaten?

If Pereira fights anyone other than Ankalaev next will his simp fans finally accept he’s ducking/being protected?

It feels on point for Julianna Pena to chase a money fight against a woman notorious for how bad a PPV draw she was.

Thinking of committing to a NFL team to support. Who do you think is most comparable to Newcastle United? I’m leaning the Bills. Based in the North East, industrial roots, rabid fanbase and a reputation for coming close but never winning the big one.

It's kinda sad how Claudia Gadelha has been forgotten by the MMA fanbase. If it wasn't for her being around the same time as Joanna she could've been the long-reigning face of the weight class. Criminally overlooked IMO.

Would it go too far to call Pacheco Cyborg's best win? 40 years old, physically declining and facing a woman who matches her power, yet used her smarts to get the win. Say what you want about W145, but someone reaching the summit and remaining there 15 YEARS LATER is remarkable.

Fourth Wall break on this channel. From me and the whole family I wanna wish everyone a very merry Christmas.

A festive classic for the last Sunday before Christmas.

I wonder how modern MMA fans would've reacted if this happened now.

I wonder if the Pereira simps will start coming around to their boy ducking Ankalaev, or does that only apply to fighters they don’t like (Ala Jones and Merab)

I genuinely believe no man has done more to hurt the legitimacy of Heavyweight MMA then Jailton Almeida. Undersized, no striking and the most predictable gameplan in the sport, but because the division is that unathletic he's probably fighting for the belt soon.

I know nothing about the NFL, but today I found myself watching a two hour documentary on the Buffalo Bills. The joy of procrastination.

Colby is the perfect case study of the pros and cons of playing a character in MMA. It helps you jump the queue and give you way more coverage then otherwise, but it relies on the fighter backing it up in-cage. When you don’t, the bottom drops out QUICKLY.

Three years ago today: Julianna Pena and the Christmas miracle.

Bold prediction: Iasmin Lucindo is gonna be the next long reigning 115 champion. The top contenders are all entering their mid to late 30s and even if Weili beats Suarez and Virna she's gonna be passing her prime by the time a Lucindo fight happens.

A lot of people are missing the story of last night's co-main. It shouldn't be "Shavkat isn't as good as we thought", it's "Ian Garry is a lot better than we want to admit" #UFC310

Reminder the UFC thought Mitchell vs Gracie was a more PPV worthy fight than Evloev vs Aljo.

Getting into the festive mood with a Christmas tradition.

As much as I enjoy the calmer atmosphere over here it's disappointing to see the lack of sport's channels. I kinda feel like I'm talking to myself at times.

Reminder that EVERY UFC title has been fought for (in some case multiple times) in the time between Weili’s last title defence and now. If she’s injured then let us know, because the inactivity is hurting that division.

Since Bluesky is more accepting of outside links then the other place I thought I'd share our recent #UFC310 Preview Show. Me and Joe discuss the main card, where Kai Asakura bids to become Japan's first UFC champion when he takes on Alexandre Pantoja. YT Link: youtu.be/2rebn9xfxKc?...

Remember when the UFC randomly put Polyana Viana vs JJ Aldrich on a PPV main card? Kinda puts Mitchell vs Gracie into context. Any other nonsensical PPV main card fights?
