Just some guy. Honestly not sure what I'll be using this for. Interests overlap in entertainment (gaming, animation) and knowledge (technology, culture, philosophy, religion, etc). Socials: https://itzpress.carrd.co/

We've reached a point where AI is now playing pokemon. (techcrunch.com/2025/02/25/a..., twitch.tv/claudeplaysp...) It took it a solid few minutes to figure out to go around Brock's Gym. (twitch.tv/claudeplaysp...)

Testing AI by having it play through pokemon is wild. (www.theverge.com/news/618440/...)

As a heads-up to people who are Kindle (app) users who are also savvy about having a copy of their books, you may want to download your books while you can. I put a temporary macro on one of my mouse buttons to make it faster to gather all 500 of them. Amazon is taking down a feature for this.

How to make a grown man cry in 30s: www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPQT... (Yes it's based on that silly Vinland Saga "I have no enemies" meme with Aruarian Dance)

Looks like there's a new "Ignore" feature on Discord now. Seems like a softer version of block, where it... probably expectedly as named, lets you more easily ignore a person without actually limited contact. This may be (unfortunately) useful in circumstances. 😔

Saw this Miku at the pancake shop.

Realized I passed the 3k articles read threshold.

Nearby convenience store tends to have seasonal goods. And those go on sale once the season is over. Managed to nab some beard shears on sale, surprisingly useful.

It still amazes me how the AN-94 was built to have a pulley system within to accomplish its burst before the recoil settles. (www.youtube.com/clip/UgkxZ0D...)

Think I found my ideal multitool? It even has a pen, but sadly out of stock... 😔

This sounds like it'll lend to some interesting prospects. I always liked following researchers and those in academia. (www.nature.com/articles/d41...)

I should really get back to listening to this podcast. Also, they've authored books on these subjects too. All on amazon. (Speaking of, hopeful for sales on those Kindle Editions.)

Want to feel old? Check this out. (www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bpz...) Like a preserved time capsule 😔

I know jewelry theft is on the rise lately but didn't think I'd see a theft occur today. 😰 Interesting to see people whip out phones once security exited the doors which brought context to how the people curiously running into the car were clearly for nefarious reasons. Can't run from surveillance.

(www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tvk8...) Amazingly, they made a Death Note game that plays like Among Us.

Always a risk to Kickstarter. I sometimes look at tech projects and gadgetry, one that I came across in an article was MemKeeper, ended up being a scam, never got product nor did others as evident in comments page. (kickstarter.com/projects/141...) Thankfully wasn't too expensive.

Me, wondering how I'll be using all these social medias. Thinking of trying to give different ones their purpose. Me also: creates a second Mastodon account. .... it's not for pointless auto-deleted posts this time, it's ... if I'm not kidding myself something I may barely use still 😭

[Megaman Battle Network] I still find endearing the depiction of the internet back in these old games.

Bluesky please don't be like other social algorithms when it comes to anything anime related. Just because I started following some VTubers after a bit of a twitter exodus doesn't mean I want to see sleazy art in my Discover tab.

No 2-Factor either... and definitely not as feature-rich with regards to posting settings as Mastodon. I've read news of the occasional updates to this site and people requesting things like an auto-deletion or archival feature.

Hm there's always some differences between these microblogging sites. This one isn't as easy to make organized Lists in. I guess maybe in part I should also just finally Follow people more in these sites.
