I had depression before I ever had a cell phone, as did several generations of relatives before me. I had depression despite eating all-organic, making my food at home, and giving up everything I could think of from alcohol to coffee. But getting rid of people like me is the feature not the bug.

perhaps the number one thing I miss about being a case manager is writing bi-weekly notes to everyone I worked with just to say hello and tell them I was thinking about them. True care and gentleness are such powerful forces.
