With recent changes to the tax system in the US, along with reduced IRS agent numbers, how bad would it be if a whole lot of people filed their taxes on hard copy paper this year? It could be a fun game: "can Elon sort through the papers before next year's batch comes in?"

Real question: why don't blue states threaten secession? The West Coast pays far more to the national budget than the Red gut. Even as just a negotiation tactic, threatening to leave unless changes are made to the make-up of congress or the electoral college just seems like smart politics?
