Someone raises a problem, and says they wanted to hear what happened to others. When I ask so what is actually the issue? They said there is no immediate problem, have not seen a doctor, and did not want to spend any money to deal with it. So what do they actually want? Others to help for free

On the other side, my feed had suspiciously gone all wrong with US stuff…

Just a quick jump on here to remind people to submit to the Leng review. www.gov.uk/government/p... Thanks.

Appointment today… to see the specialist team not Oncology. Hopefully not a PA again, or I might scream. I actually have a few issues that I need a bit of support from. #CancerDiary

Not been on for ages. Not really managing to do too much SoMe as with a hint of depression setting in as expected of this time of the year and with treatment. Hope all is well with y’all. Avoiding news at the moment.

Monday mood is meh… The pro-PA squad keeps criticising doctors who raise concerns as “toxic”. Then what is the harm caused by PAs and the ladder-pullers who supported them? Is that not the true harm? The “toxicity”? It seems so unjust.

I don’t know who needs to hear this. Having done MSc Oncology didn’t make me an Oncologist. It’s the med school, MRCP, training, FRCR altogether. So a “master” or a PGDip certainly does NOT make someone an equivalent to a doctor. Thanks.
